3. Guest Convenience: Providing your guests with at least 9 months' notice is considerate, as it allows them ample time to budget, plan their travel, and perhaps extend their stay for a mini-vacation.

4. Detail-oriented Planning: The extra time also gives the on-site wedding coordinator at the resort the opportunity to meticulously plan each aspect of your wedding, from decor to catering, ensuring that everything reflects your personal taste and style.

5. Handling Documentation: Destination weddings may require additional paperwork, visas, or permits. Starting early gives us sufficient time to handle these logistical details without rush.

While we suggest not starting later than 9 months prior to your desired date, we understand that sometimes love can’t wait! In such cases, our team is prepared to work diligently to bring your dream day to life in a shorter timeframe, ensuring no detail is overlooked.

If you are planning an elopement or smaller wedding with 5-10 rooms or less, 6-9 months out might be doable, depending on the destination, resort and venue/dates available.

Navigating the legal requirements for a destination wedding can seem daunting, but rest assured, we are here to guide you through every step. The exact requirements and documentation necessary vary depending on your chosen destination. These can include, but are not limited to, residency requirements, specific forms of identification, and possibly even blood tests or other medical certifications.

To ensure that your union is legally recognized both in your destination country and back home, we will discuss all the specific legalities during our Discovery Call. In our subsequent discussions, as we move forward in planning your wedding, we will delve deeper into the details, tailoring our guidance to your unique destination and circumstances, working with the on-site wedding staff to ensure documentation is received timely.

Our goal is to streamline this process for you, making it as straightforward and stress-free as possible. This allows you to focus on the joy and excitement of your special day, knowing all the legal aspects are being meticulously managed.

Absolutely!  For destination weddings with 15+ rooms, we build out a booking website for your guests to book their accommodations.  We give them all the info on the resort, what's included, what's not included, cancellation policy and can assist them after booking their accommodations with flights, travel protection or tours/excursions.  

For weddings with 14 rooms or less, we can use 'Group Codes' to help with linking all reservations together, but will book everyone as individual bookings at the prevailing rates at the time of booking.  We do not provide a booking site for less than 15 rooms as there is no group contract with locked in pricing on the accommodations.

Additional elements like floral arrangements, custom menus, and exclusive decor also play a role in the overall budget.

For your guests, we typically see a range for a comfortable 4-night stay, averaging between $1,250 to $2,500 per person, excluding airfare. This estimate provides a good baseline for guests to budget for their trip. The cost per guest can vary based on the resort's level of luxury, the type of accommodation chosen, and any additional activities or amenities they might opt for during their stay.
